Roles based at the Love INC clearinghouse in Wauconda
- Receptionist – Answer phones and greet visitors in a positive, professional manner.
- Phone Intake – Engage with clients by phone, gather information, form a basic overview of the client, their story and needs. Some computer inputting skills required.
- Client Follow-up and Verification – Assist Clearinghouse coordinator in finding resources, assessing client needs and collaborating with clients, agencies and churches.
- Love INC Liaison – Serves as Champion for the Love INC ministry at their church. Requires a clear understanding of the Love INC mission and the vision for local church partnerships. The Liaison plays a key role in identifying and mobilizing volunteers, as well as communication (complete job description available).
- Administrative Assistance – Perform various administrative tasks and helps create and maintain effective office practices.
- Warehouse – Organize and maintain warehouse and related supplies.
- Inventory Assistance – Work with Warehouse Manager to keep accurate accounting of furniture inventory.
- Pick-up and Delivery Teams – Pick up donated furniture, deliver furniture to clients.
- Communications/Social Networking – Help update our website, Facebook page and Twitter feed. Solid computer, Internet and Social Media knowledge required.
- Photos and Stories – Assist in the gathering of Love Stories and photos, then help put pieces together for website, Facebook and other avenues of communication.
- Database – Help further develop and maintain our database using Filemaker Pro.
