Love in the Name of Christ was founded in 1977 in southwest Michigan. We now have 160 local affiliates in 30 states across the USA (8 in Illinois, none in Cook County), plus 5 in Kenya.

Each local affiliate partners with Christian churches in its footprint in order to help people in need in healthy ways that lead to transformed lives.

Churches refer people with needs to Love INC, which provides a thorough assessment and verifies needs.

Then Love INC mobilizes volunteers from its partner churches to come alongside and meet needs in community.
